"Burning Man" is the winner of the Best Israeli Film Award in the Israeli Film Competition at the 41st Haifa International Film Festival. ## Judges' reasons: "Eyal Halfon's film succeeds in capturing the reality of parental anxiety conveyed through an unexpected perspective, that of a father who fears for the fate of his soldier son."

The first museum dedicated entirely to the October 7th disaster opens in Kiryat HaHesed in the Hadar neighborhood of Haifa. ## A memorial site that tells the stories of the horror and heroism of that day through videos, rare photographs, visual displays, and personal items collected from the field.

The Studio Theater's production group ensemble won second place last Saturday at the "All Israel on Stage" theater festival, for the play "Private Investigation" directed by Ditza Caspi Elgar. The play, based on the play "Private Investigator" by Michael Gurevich, deals with the missing and the secrets of the human soul.

The year is 1957. Budapest is in ruins after an attempted uprising against the communist regime, and the world of a young Jewish boy named Andor Hirsch is turned upside down. Andor, raised on inspiring stories his mother told him about his late father, is stunned when a rude and violent-looking man appears in their lives one day, claiming to be his real father.

The theater's new management presents the repertoire for the 2025-2026 seasons, alongside a list of leading actors joining the production. ## The expected hits: "The Babniks", "The Child Dreams", "Alex Lovesick", "The Diary", "Lilsada", "Crazy with Love", "Life According to Agape" and a dance theater following the life story of superstar Marilyn Monroe.

The Tel Aviv Soloists Ensemble's season-ending concert will be dedicated to the memory of the legendary violinist Ivri Gitlis ## conducted by Barak Tal, and performed by three international soloists: violinist Stefan Terrara (Switzerland), cellist Gabriel Schwabe (Germany-Spain) and pianist Ido Bar Shai ## Saturday, September 20, at 8:00 PM
