January, 1945. Moshe Kessler gets off the train that arrives at the Buchenwald concentration camp and with him hundreds of boys aged 12-17, thin and weak, who survived the horror of Auschwitz and the death marches. They are sent to their new home, block 66. They do not know that the political underground of the camp, led by a brave Czech prisoner, has made a decision to save their lives.
