Normally, I don't usually go to restaurants on Friday afternoons, because the best and most successful restaurants are at peak occupancy then, and you have to make reservations well in advance. But, last Friday, Mahmoud Abu Segair, the owner of Chef Onyx restaurant (and also of the Oyster food truck), invited me to come and taste the new dishes, what's more, the restaurant will soon celebrate one year of operation, and besides, he misses me.
