In 1988, when Nitza Ben-Ari and I were dating, Nitza brought me a wonderful book as a gift: An Exchange of Postcards Between the Painter Franz Marc and the Poet Elsa Lasker-Schiller. I was immediately captivated by its charm. I think that day I decided to write and draw a postcard to Nitza every day. (Danny Kerman)
