A group of trans women who make a living as prostitutes are making their usual nightly rounds in the park. Suddenly, from the other side, the voice of Aunt Encarna, the leader, is heard calling them to come. Among the bushes is a living, freezing baby. Against all logic, the aunt decides to adopt the baby and add him to the bosom of the colorful trans family gathered in her home. The book is based in part on episodes from the author's biography.
