A quest for Israeli identity against the backdrop of the southern landscapes, when suddenly the Shevah disaster occurs in October. A deceptive and confusing disaster after which we have no choice but to pick up the pieces and use them to reassemble our identity as Israelis.

Testimonies written by Israeli creators. The book brings together over fifty testimonies collected and edited by poets, writers, men and women of the book and theater, including from the 'wrapped in words' project. The book paints a personal but wide-ranging, painful and sober picture of the events of Black Saturday.
