In human history it is difficult to find any similarity between the Jews and the Japanese. Both nations have completely different heritage, culture, religion, past and experiences. However, some shared similarities can be found since they met in the middle of the 19th century. This book describes the interaction between the two nations, the common and the different and focuses on Japan-Israel relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations between them in 1952.
