BOOKS 2023 #Dual loyalty

Ahmed Yazdi is the son of one of the revered fathers of the revolution in Iran. He himself took an active part in the struggle, fled to France and returned to Iran with Khomeini. During his studies at the Faculty of Energy Engineering in Tehran, he falls in love with Barshel Soleimani, a Jewish architecture student. Colonel Janati, an intelligence officer of the Revolutionary Guards, discovers this love story and uses the information to recruit Yazdi to the organization.
