Strepsiades, an Athenian farmer, decides to send his spoiled and extravagant son to the Socrates Institute of Thought so that he can learn to juggle his tongue and get out of the debts he has accumulated because of him. The son, Phidipides, is required to choose his teacher in the eyes of the public, when the justified argument is contested.
