A historical novel that follows the main character for thirty years - from the 1950s to the Iranian revolution in the late 1970s. The characters in the novel come from a variety of backgrounds and areas in Tehran - both from the affluent neighborhoods of the north of the city and from the backward and impoverished southern part.
